ELOprotect, ELOshield forklift safety solutions both honored
ELOKON in line for more safety awards
Two ELOKON products are on the shortlist for this year’s Design4Safety Awards, to be presented in September by the British Industrial Truck Association (BITA) at the IMHX logistics exposition in Birmingham, England. ELOshield, a driver-assistance safety system that warns both forklift operators and pedestrians before a potential collision can occur, is a finalist in the “Technology” category. And ELOprotect, a fully automatic vehicle-pedestrian safety system designed specifically for very narrow aisle (VNA) warehouses, is a finalist in the “Industrial Vehicles & Ancillary Products” category.
The Design4Safety Awards celebrate innovative thinking in product design that improves material handling safety. Here at ELOKON, warehouse safety is our business, and we pride ourselves on innovation. So we are delighted that the Design4Safety judges have recognized the value of our safety technology for lift trucks. We look forward to learning if we have won yet another safety award when the results are announced on September 26, 2019, at The Vox conference center in Birmingham, U.K.
Both ELOshield and ELOprotect have already won several industry awards, but it would be great to add another one. (Or two!)
