ELOKON Inc. is the North American subsidiary of ELOKON GmbH. To capitalize on our recent customer successes in the North American markets, ELOKON Inc. is looking to hire a highly motivated Business Administrator that reports to the HR & Finance Manager.

 

In this role, you will create, enforce and improve company policies, business processes/workflows and be responsible for actioning all general business and sales administrative tasks. In addition, you will oversee and report weekly on the company’s product inventory, support the sales department with vendor assignments, processing customer purchase orders, handling after-sales activities in collaboration with the sales and service/support teams. Additionally, the role entails planning team travel and meetings.


Job Overview

The Business Administrator supports the teams from an administrative perspective, playing a crucial role in maintaining the company's backend operations that support other departments. Acting as a central point of contact, you will facilitate communication across teams. Additionally, you will engage with customers while processing purchase orders and addressing inquiries related to their orders.

Responsibilities

  • Create, enforce and improve company policies / workflows / business processes.
  • Process state registrations (legal / sales tax).
  • Oversee product inventory management (placing orders, record returns, generating reports etc.).
  • Manage and control company equipment.
  • Support sales department with tasks such as vendor assignment and customer set up.
  • Process customer purchase orders / managing after sales process.
  • Assist with customer onboarding processes.
  • Team travel and meeting planning.
  • Assist with clerical tasks (such as maintaining logs, updating records etc.).
  • Other duties as assigned.

The candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA) or a minimum of four years of related experience and training.
  • Relevant experience with CRM systems (Salesforce would be an advantage).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to focus on all areas of a task.
  • Ability to find efficient and innovative ways to overcome challenges.
  • Ability to adapt and solve problems creatively.
  • Demonstrates a high level of initiative by identifying potential problems and seeking solutions.
  • Ability to work independently (self-starter) and within an international team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Creative mindset and innovative approach are a big plus.
  • Must be proficient with MS Office products.

Requirements

  • You must be legally authorized to work in the US.
  • Will work out of their home office.
  • Must be able to travel up to 60% as the position requires.
  • Must hold a valid passport.
