Further recognition for ELOprotect – for enhanced safety in narrow aisles

Our safety system ELOprotect has once again been named as a finalist for an award: the anti-collision version is on the shortlist in the Safety Category of the 2108 UK Fork Lift Truck Association (FLTA) Awards for Excellence – regarded as the Oscars of the MHE sector.

The event is the largest and most prestigious in the British logistics sector and a nomination in any of the four categories is highly sought after in these acclaimed awards which have rewarded examples of best practice in the forktruck industry for over 20 years. There are four categories as follows:

ELOprotect anti-collision is up against five other products for recognition as the best safety solution this year. Anti-collision is the new version of the mobile personal protection system ELOprotect, which was specifically designed to avoid vehicle collisions in narrow aisles.

This enables a number of forklifts to work simultaneously in narrow aisles without having to compromise on operating speed, thanks to longer and more powerful collision detection fields on both laser scanners.

How it works

We will not know if ELOprotect has been judged the winner until the awards ceremony on the 24^th February 2018, which takes place at the traditional gala dinner at the Telford International Centre in England – eight days before the real Oscars in Hollywood!
