ELOfusion Forklift Safety Solution Wins 2026 Award | ELOKON

ELOKON’s ELOfusion Wins Silver in 2026 Plant Engineering Product of the Year Awards

ELOKON’s ELOfusion has won the silver medal in the 2026 Plant Engineering Product of the Year Awards, earning much deserved recognition for its all-in-one approach to forklift safety, fleet management, collision avoidance, and risk analytics.

This award marks another milestone for ELOfusion, a connected warehouse safety platform designed to help manufacturers, warehouses, distribution centers, and logistics operations move beyond fragmented safety and telematics systems.

By combining proximity detection, pedestrian warning, fleet performance data, access control, impact reporting, and near-miss analytics in one platform, ELOfusion gives operations teams a clearer view of both safety risk and material handling productivity.

Plant Engineering’s Product of the Year program highlights leading new products for manufacturing and non-manufacturing environments. The annual reader-choice program asks qualified subscribers to evaluate products based on technological advancement, service to the industry, and market impact.
For the 2026 program, winners are recognized with Gold, Silver, and Bronze distinctions within award categories, along with an overall Most Valuable Product honor.

At the center of ELOfusion is the integration of two established ELOKON technologies: ELOfleet and ELOshield. The platform combines fleet management functions such as access control, checklists, collision reports, productivity insights, and maintenance planning with proximity detection capabilities for vehicle-to-vehicle, vehicle-to-pedestrian, and zone-monitoring scenarios.

For industrial operators, that unified approach is increasingly important. Warehouses and manufacturing facilities often rely on separate tools for forklift access, driver checklists, safety alerts, telematics, incident reporting, and maintenance workflows. Those disconnected systems can make it harder for safety leaders and operations teams to identify patterns, respond to near misses, and act before risk becomes an incident. ELOfusion addresses that challenge by bringing safety and fleet intelligence into one connected environment.

Key ELOfusion features include:

  • Proximity detection and on-body pedestrian warnings
  • Truck-to-truck collision avoidance
  • Speed zoning
  • RFID forklift driver login
  • Customizable OSHA pre-operational checklists
  • Impact recording and alerts
  • Near-miss analytics
  • Productivity reporting
  • Preventive maintenance planning
  • A cloud platform built for multi-site, mixed-fleet operations

The silver medal also reflects broader momentum for ELOKON’s connected safety portfolio. Earlier in 2026, ELOfusion was named “Fleet Management Innovation of the Year” in the 10th annual IoT Breakthrough Awards Program.

The Plant Engineering recognition reinforces ELOKON’s role in advancing proactive forklift safety and intralogistics performance.
The Product of the Year silver medal positions ELOfusion among the most impactful industrial products recognized in the 2026 program. More importantly, it underscores a shift in how facilities are approaching safety: from standalone warning devices and reactive incident tracking to connected, data-driven systems that support prevention, accountability, and continuous improvement.

As warehouses and manufacturing plants continue to balance productivity demands with worker safety, technologies like ELOfusion are helping teams see risk earlier, respond faster, and manage fleets with greater confidence. Its silver medal in the 2026 Plant Engineering Product of the Year Awards signals industry recognition for a platform built to make forklift operations safer, more transparent, and more efficient.

ELOfusion was nominated as part of ELOKON’s 2026 awards journey alongside ELOshieldAI, with both solutions recognized as standout technologies supporting safer, smarter warehouse and manufacturing operations.
