VNA Safety Systems
Narrow warehouse aisles are essential for maximizing storage but pose significant challenges for pedestrians and moving machinery. The ELOprotect system uses highly accurate laser scanners—rather than cameras, which may be unreliable—to detect pedestrians, vehicles, and obstacles. These scanners are installed on the load or drive side of the truck, ensuring precise and dependable safety monitoring.
How ELOprotect Functions
ELOprotect automatically activates when a lift truck enters a narrow aisle. If the scanners detect a person or obstacle within range, the system triggers visual and auditory alarms while safely bringing the truck to a controlled stop. Once the hazard is resolved, the operator can reset the system with the push of a button, which records the event and enables the truck to resume operations. Even when idle, the ELOprotect system remains active, monitoring both directions to ensure the safety of nearby pedestrians. This system allows multiple trucks to operate within the same aisle safely and efficiently.
ELOprotectPRO
For enhanced safety, ELOprotectPRO extends the detection range from seven meters to nine meters (30 feet). The advanced, dust-resistant scanners are designed for high-activity job sites or warehouses with significant airborne debris.
